How To Write A 5 Star Review

Businesses are always trying to improve our customer’s experience. In order for an organization to help provide the best customer service possible, they depend on their happy, loyal customers to write them reviews. In addition, over 70% of Americans now say they look at product reviews before making a purchase. Which is why it is important that your customers know how to write a Google review! Don’t know how to get started? We’ve got you covered:

Once you’ve turned on your computer and opened your web browser, go to Google’s website: http://www.google.com. From there, simply sign into your account by clicking the blue box in the upper right hand corner.

*Note: If you don’t have a Google account, fear not. Click the same blue box that says

“Sign In” and from there, click the blue text that says create an account. Then, fill in the required information and follow the steps on the screen.

From there, type in the name of the organization you would like to write a review for in the Search box, and click Search. On the right-hand side of your Google search you will see the organization with a button that says, “Write a Review”. Click on the “Write a Review” button. From there, rate the organization on a 1 to 5 star scale, 1 star being “extremely disliked it,” and 5 stars being, “extremely liked it”.

Next, write your review based on your experience for the company, the more detail you provide, the better! Finally, click the “publish” button, and you have published your first review!

If you wish to share your review with friends or colleagues, go back to the original results page for the location. Click on the Google Plus Page for the organization. Scroll down to “All Reviews”, where your recent review will be on display. Click the small arrow on the bottom right corner of your review. In the “To:” box, choose to share it with your circles, friends, or email contact list. And then, click the green share button!

Congratulations, you have now finished writing and sharing your review!
